Gloria, thanks for these categories but they do not capture or account for African Trumpists. 

I categorize them into:

1. Culture cringe self-hating and White-worshipping Africans

2. Evangelical, Pentecostal and some other Christians who think that Trump is a protector of Christians and Christian rights worldwide

3. Muslim Africans frustrated with Gaza who thought that Trump would dismantle the US empire, rein in Israel, protect Palestinian interest and bring peace to the Middle East

4. Anti-LGBT Africans who applaud Trump's anti-LGTQ and anti-trans policies and see him as a restorer of heteronormativity, patriachy, and family values

5. Authoritarians and democracy malcontents who are enamored with blustering, bullying, and "strong" leaders (Trump, Putin, etc) who exhibit what they see as decisive if authoritarian leadership

6. Misogynists and patriarchal Africans who see Trump as the avatar of masculinity and a scourge on feminism

7. Self-described anti-woke Africans who applaud Trump's free-willing, "politically incorrect," offensive, and even racist speech. They see Trump as a champion of free speech.
