Wildfires raging in the Holy Land.
Israel 'BURNS' LIVE | 'Not Palestinians': Fire Services Contradict Netanyahu's Arson Claims
I first heard about the disaster from Middle East Eye , and in the video clip reporting "Fires in Israel reach army bases near Jerusalem" you can hear some Palestinian voices piously chirping "Allahu Akbar !" - perhaps in praise of Allah's divine wrath about what Netanyahu & Crew have been doing and are still doing to the innocent, long-suffering Palestinian people of Gaza and the West Bank, the visitation of fire is in the same spirit in which Rabbi Ovadia Yosef opined about the natural disaster recorded as Hurricane Katrina .
The pious Palestinian reaction - Allahu Akbar should be enough to give you pause for reflection about El Hajj Malik Shabazz's memorable definitions illustrating the difference between the House Negro and the Field Negro :
"But then you had another Negro out in the field. The house Negro was in the minority. The masses--the field Negroes were the masses. They were in the majority. When the master got sick, they prayed that he'd die. [Laughter] If his house caught on fire, they'd pray for a wind to come along and fan the breeze."
According to some news sources Hamas' reaction to the fires in Israel is a typical Field Negro reaction, not only praying for some strong winds to fan the breeze, but actually aiding and abetting the spread of the fires….
Don't get me wrong - B'ezrat Hashem I intend to plant some more trees in the Holy Land, to replenish what has been lost and to make her more environmentally friendly .
When my mother passed away in 1998 in London, through Keren Kayemet, I planted a few trees in the Yatir forest in the Negev desert in her loving memory
