The question is: How can we fight corruption when the second-in-command in this administration once recommended that the most corrupt and most incompetent Southern Christian should be crowned the President of the Senate to assuage the anger arising from the Muslim-Muslim ticket? According to him, such a decision was necessary to further political stability in the federation. Alas, as a result of such a decision, Nigeria has returned to the "State of nurture" in River State due to the lack of respect for the rule of law, and the "law of self-interest."
