Dr. Mobolaji Ebenezer Aluko to join the Panel Discussion on Dangote, Oil and Power in Nigeria, November 2, 2025
Dr. Mobolaji Ebenezer Aluko, aged 70, a graduate of the University of Ife (BSc, 1976), of Imperial College, London, UK (MSc, DIC, 1978) and of the University of California, Santa Barbara (PhD, 1983), is a professor of Chemical Engineering. He taught at Howard University for three decades (1984-2014) before being appointed as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State (2011-2016). He has since been in two Ekiti Sate cabinets of Governors Kayode Fayemi (2018-2022l and Biodun Oyebanji (2022-2025), where he served as Director-General (DG) of the Office of Transformation, Strategy and Delivery (OTSD) from 2018-2022, and Honorable State Commissioner (HSC) of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities (MIPU) from 2021-2025. He is a prolific commentator on Nigerian, African and world affairs.
