Correction : I had meant to say, " …with his little hand on that nuclear button, you had better watch out that he doesn't come for you…."

Wahala : Trump and Nigeria
Where was Donald Trump during Sabra and Shatila ?
Donald Trump In 1982 ? He wasn't US President yet
1982 I was in Nigeria, got the news there.
Earlier today, on TV, we saw Trump shaking hands with a-Sharaa
Would like to know how are Christians faring since al-Sharaa took over in Syria?
Syria after Assad :The situation for Christians, Shia Muslims, Druze
The question is, why now? Why didn't Trump deem Nigeria "a country of particular concern" earlier?
My hunch is that Trump is pissed because the 2025 New York City Mayoral Election was won by Zohran Mamdani - a Muslim - Zohran harvested a whopping 1,036,051 votes whereas Trump's Republican candidate Curtis Sliva barely managed to rake in 146,137 votes ( 7 % of the votes cast)…So, naturally,Trump being Trump , Trump is pissed, mighty pissed and at this point the news is that Republicans are pushing to strip Zohran Mamdani of US citizenship. In the meantime Trump is busy trying to alert the American public that Muslims are killing Christians in Nigeria and it's a genocide going on
Perhaps, the latest testimonies from the Bishop of Benue has contributed to that perception ?
Ali Abunimah weighs in…
Ashrit Parvangada asks and answers the question , Why invade Nigeria ?
The increasingly erratic, sometimes bizarre, extra-ordinary sayings of Donald Trump are constantly under public scrutiny, to the extent that whether they like it or not, friend and foe alike have become amateur psychologists, in some cases psychiatrists, trying to catch up with USA's most grandiose and most megalomaniac president, to date. Which other President in American history has ever toyed with the idea of being crowned Emperor, not only of the United States, but of the World? Which other President has lusted after being awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, as much as Trump has lusted and is manifestly lusting as per his mutterings and many utterances/utterings on that subject ? And now he wants to dash such hopes and possibilities to the ground with his dreams of invading Venezuela , another "Bay of Pigs Invasion", worse still precipitate another scenario that could go down in history as a kind of phase two of The Cuban Missile Crisis ( and Trump not being as cool as John F.Kennedy, that would prove to be his waterloo) and his Waterloo Number 2, in his arrogance he sees Nigeria as a soft target, Nigeria where for a surety that dream could soon enough become a nightmare - a dream terminated by what goes under the general term "Black Magic" or one of Ishmael Reed's fanciful or more fanciful names for Voodoo
Whether amateur psychologist or professional psychiatrist, always blowing hot and then cold, whether it's tariffs or threatening -" if need be" to conquer Greenland ( the world's largest island ) and bring all her minerals under his wings, or with the the usual trademark bluster, threatening to annex and incorporate Canada as part of his scheme for making USA Greater than ever, with boast and bluster the more Trump talks the more evidence he gives for the diagnosis , no matter how tendentious, that he is a nut case , a nutter - and vindictive too - with his little hand on that nuclear button, you had watch out that he doesn't come for you….
