For a while I thought that Nnamdi Kanu was going to try to pull that off as an argument (that he wanted to be tried by "his peers" and didn't expect justice from any other but his "peers"
But then, Saddam, Boko Haram, the ransom kidnappers, The Lord's Resistance Army, the lootocrats etc. would have have been demanding ditto - to be judged by "their peers"
