USA Africa Dialogue Series - RE: Re:DECLARATION OF INTENT: For 2011 Presidential Race -by incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan

Gregg,

Tell Brother eRG that as at 6AM GMT Sept 16, the year of Our Lord 2010, there was no SINGLE pipe-borne water project with Prez Jonathan's Finger-prints at Igwobazuwa, Olokun, Ugbowo, Sakpoba, Uromi, Ubiaja, Agbede, Afuze, Auchi, Fugar, Ekperi, and Agenebode; similar account was relayed from Kogi, Delta, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, Rivers, Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Benue, Nigeri, Gongola, Bauchi, Plateau, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto and other States in the Federation. The Niger Bridge linking Onitsha and Asaba was impassable; the Lagos-Benin Hwy was jammed at Ore, Olokun and Ijebu Ode; Robbers blocked Abuja-Okene-Auchi Road; three quarters of the locations in all the major Cities in Nigeria (Lagos, Benin City, PH, Enugu, Calabar, Kaduna, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Makurdi, Warri, Ibadan, Jos, Bauchi, Yola, and even Abuja) were without electricity; and another major manufacturing company moved out of Nigeria (to Ghana or SA) because (like Dunlop, and others) the management cant cope with the power, water, transportation and security issues that now consume.80 percent of their revenues, effort and time. That is the current Report Card from GJ's Country as the leaders shamelessly declare for Presidency, NASS, Governorship, LG Chairmen et cetera!

Considering these numerous issues, the life support the nation is on, and the intimate and emergency care she needs, a serious leader CANNOT BE SAYING THAT he doesn't know where to start or cannot promise much. So What is He Doing There? Nigeria needed serious, pragmatic and tunnel-vision leaders "yesterday", not even NOW! These leaders don't have to be Perfect! Just be Serious, Focused, Purposeful and Committed to few of the numerous problems that abound, and GET THEM RESOLVED! DAMN IT! Enough of Inept and Visionless Leaders in Nigeria! Take care. JUI

eRG,

I'm impressed.  You have this much facts, but decided to go into an ass kicking contest with one leg.  If all what you list are attributable to Prez Johnathan, he better stand on rooftops and blow his own horn. If not, it never happenned.   He should ask Prez Obama what happens when a Prez acomplishes much and doesn't talk about it.  I'll look into what you have listed.  Thanks.
