USA Africa Dialogue Series - [Naijaintellects] RE: Already answered QQ...10 Things that Nigerians need to know about BUHARI

Oti Felix:
The POINT is not that a Citizen shouldnt have or maintain his/her religious beliefs when in the leadership of a heterogenous and secular nation; the POINT is that such a leader (Christian, Muslim, Budhist or Traditionalist) should:
1. Understand the need to separate the business of State governance from the individual religious beliefs;
2. Not mortgage the nation's interest to religionists;
3. Respect other citizems' religious beliefs;

I hope you or Buhari understands that; if Buhari can ASSURE NIGERIANS, he should be fine. Take care. JUI

Nnaa, tell our people who have no argument to make, to just jee zuo ike. "..Islamic apologist". What nonsense is that? Christian apologist, nko, is he that one? Then Ifeanyi Eze chimes in with his defense of drug pushers and courriers. We know that some us to date are still swallowing bags of cocaine for 10,000 USD! Ifeanyi Eze, how about that. If you are caught tomorrow with some pouches in your intestine, whose sympathy will you seek? We'd hope you were caught in Indonesia, so you do not turn Igbo land into a drug den. Ummm. Alright, let us find a protector for druggies as your president. Folks, the train has moved on. See Yoruba people having meaningful debates, factual debates, that will eventually lead to who they'd back. I am glad the decent man of integrity Buhari supporters among them have the days on their side. Igbo have poured all their eggs in one basket, a basket they were not even sure had holes in it. No problem. But all this religion crap, ain't saving no day for Igbo. We should rather quietly plot our future, than run our mouths in the open in the most inane fashion. It brings nothing but shame upon us. As to questions to Buhari, there is none he has not answered, as deeply as any intellectual will find satisfactory, and some for those of us given to peripherals - "sharia"...'suite cases"...and again, such crap
