RE: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Professor Emmanuel Obiechina: Is it true?

May the Soul of Prof. Emmanuel Obiechina rest in peace and may the eternal Ancestors guide him during his next fruitful journey. Prof. Obiechina was among those whose remarkable books shaped our consciousness in our preparation for the West African Examination Council's ordinary and advanced level examinations. His book, Culture, Tradition and Society in the West African Novel, was a highly prized treasure with its own special living space in the library of my alma mater, the Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School, Legon.  As the Akans say, "Days fly by like wind and so do our lives."  Opanyin Obiechina nantew yiye. [Fare thee well, our eminent elder].

Kwabena.
