Again, let me emphasize on one important point. The point is simply when the African countries were decolonized they did not have independence neither were they emancipated. Each country was not a nation. The nationhood must be constructed by a program of positive action to build unitary states by integrating the various ethnic groups into one nationhood. The tribal affinity and the ethnic affinity must be reworked into national affinity.
This point was also emphasized by Nkrumah, Diop and Lumumba. This lack of any meaningful nationhood has become important fault lines in African countries. Deep seated examples are Nigeria, Kenya,New Republic of Congo, Ghana and many others. Ghana under President Kwame Nkrumah solved the Ghana's problem by integrating ethenic parts and conditions of Islamic, Christian and the traditional ones.
The lack of nationhood and the existence of these fault lines are being exploited by international power blocks and imperial incumbents for resource exploitation and the maintenance of the imperial predatory system. It has nothing to do with democracy. Similarly, the domestic political and intellectual Askari, sometimes in collaboration with their imperial masters, use the same fault lines for political gains and pocket enrichments.
What problem do you think force can solve? The only way force may be contemplated is the creation of the political union of Africa or West Africa or others.
Democracy is not an ultimate gift of the Creator. Democracy requires the building and casting of democratic institutions to code it into the culture as a DNA. The notion of the use of force to kill people in other to bring democracy is a demonstration of craziness. How can one bring democracy to the dead? Killing is irreversible process that solves no problem but create more killings. This is the American model for Iraq. This model should not be used in any where in AFRICA. The responsibility of the wise is to save the living, the lives of the Africans but not to destroy them. This requires patience and wisdom.
My position to resolve the problem is simply through diplomacy.

DEAR ALL
I have tried to refrain from this discussions but a lack of clarity of African modern difficulties has forced me to add my voice.
The Ghana
At this point in African history the fear and predictions of Nkrumah and Diop have been realized in that Africa is not only Balkanized but South-Americanized where Africa would be made up of a proliferation of litter dictator-ridden countries without organic ties one to another, ephemeral, afflicted with chronic weakness, governed by terror with the help of outsized police forces, but under economic domination by foreign countries, pulling strings through the mere presence of an embassy. As Nkrumah points out If we do not formulate plans for unity and take active steps to form political union, we will soon be fighting and warring among ourselves with imperialists and colonialists standing behind the screen and pulling vicious wires, to make us cut each other's throats for the sake of their diabolical purposes in Africa. This is what is taking place in Cote d'Ivoire, Sudan New Republic of the Congo. This happened in Angola, Zimbabwe and others. This has happened many times in South and Central America. This will soon happen in Nigeria and Ghana.
It is the understanding of these historic circumstances and their lack of relationship to any meaningful form of democracy that have guided and instructed President Mills to say no to FORCE. In fact, I am surprised that Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, Journalist & Communications Consultant ,who should be aware of the imperialist modus operandi, will take the position of force.
Power to Mills!!!, Long live African resistance to the imperialist terror and diabolical purposes!!!.

Subject: USA Africa Dialogue Series - President Mills Goofed On Cote d'Ivoire
As I reminded President John Evans Atta Mills in my letter to him, during his 1999 State of the Nation Address, he stated: "...Also, we will honour all our legitimate treaty obligations with the Commonwealth, the United Nations, and other international organizations." His refusal to contribute troops to the ECOWAS military initiative betrays his pronouncement. As I added, this issue will be raised during his reelection bid and other endeavors.Sent: Sunday, January 09, 2011 10:42 PM
