Idowu:
Let us not turn this into a debate about Wikileaks and its contents, I am only concerned at your assertion that UMYA did not hand over to GEJ based on fears as to his competency. That could not be true, that is my point below.
On Jonathan's probable admission to Sanders that he lacked the competence to administer Nigeria, I am not surprised.
Without voicing an opinion as to the level of GEJ's competency, I happen to know that GEJ generally lacks self confidence. I once interacted with GEJ's former speech writer in Bayelsa State. He told me that on the day Alameseigha was impeached, GEJ was very reluctant to assume gubernatorial responsibility. He could not immediately rise up to the ocassion. He had to be prepped and re-assured that he will be equal to the task. The Speech Writer drafted his speech and encouraged him to go ahead and DO IT!
Humility? Incompetence? Lack of confidence? You judge
But if you ask me, that does not mean many people that also lack self confidence could not achieve, if and when they find themselves in a position of responsibility. According to my friend, once GEJ gave that speech, and addressed Bayelsans, thats it!
Jonathan is a human being, like me and you my friend. We all suffer bouts of confidence all the time....God knows I do!
I watched Jonathan's TV address when NASS made him acting president. I and the speech writer analysed it the next day,we agreed it was horrible. But what about now? you saw how he started campaigning, so unsure? what about now?
It is normal for everyone...Look at Obama in 2008, look at him now....
Finally, GEJ may or may not be our president, post April 2011,,,,...but if he wins, NEVER you believe that the GEJ you witness now will be the same GEJ post 2011....
The former speech writer also told me: those who underestimate GEJ does so at their peril...ask Yayale, ask Ibori, ask Atiku!

Daniel: Did you read Bankole discussion with US Ambassador about Jonathan-Ibori and Aondoakaa corruption triangle. Did you read wikileak Jonathan self assessment of his competency? Did you read wikileak comment of Oshimole that GEJ voted 4 times. You can not do selective believing of Wikileak expose, you believe one, you have to believe all. Pronto!!!
