USA Africa Dialogue Series - Re: Obama's All Male And Almost All White Cabinet

Understandably, after the 2007 elections in Sierra Leone the general
complaint was about alleged "Northernisation". Always complaining,
never satisfied. In the US it's now about an " almost" all-White
cabinet - reminiscent of this scene from " Do the Right Thing":

The Black man's "White man " problem keeps dogging Brother Obama.
For the avid reader, here is another aspect to the issue:

Since I would like to see at least some Latino, some Bro and some
Sista standing up to be counted - not necessarily in the name of
meritocracy, but more in tune with reflecting America's diversity, it
is my dua that Mwalimu Bangura gets his fair share of his camel or
cow ( halal style) with all four legs for Nigerian pappa soup - but
first he has to be fair with Brother Obama and not pretend that he
doesn't know what happened with Sista Susan Rice.

Nor should we give up hope - as the news item spells it out, " I
would hope the president would follow New Hampshire's lead," Shaheen
told Mitchell, pointing to the fact that women account for half of the
population of the United States. "He still has an opportunity," she
added. "He has places where he could appoint women, and I hope he'll 
take a look and do that."

Chuck Hagel hasn't been confirmed yet and there are many , not just
Romney & his Republicans who hope that someone else gets that post.
