Dear All,
The Asiwaju of Lagos has brilliantly analyzed his objections to the proposed National Conference and he concludes ..."lack of respect for the opinions of others because they are in "Power" will have little success." Granted that all that he said were true, the conclusion he arrived at of "little success" interests me. Why don't we see the end of the President's proposed National Conference and it's little success? Perhaps it could lead to more success that we do not anticipate.
Of course, all the deceptive devices that the previous administrations before President Jonathan used to enhance their interests failed and today those leaders cannot get the trust and support of the electorate.
The President is probably aware of this and it will be stupid of him to do the same trick.
My view is that given the calibre of Nigerians that are assigned the job, we should allow them to finish it and wait for the President's next line of action before he is confronted with arsenal of criticisms.
Segun Ogungbemi.
