Thanks, this was uplifting in terms of his efforts at cross-cultural communication; it is a rarity in western diplomacy to really reach out to the larger society. Still I am a little disappointed that he did not expand on the need to continue to pursue human rights for everyone, including gay people. Obviously criminalizing a whole group of people based on their identity; is in itself an atrocity.
