Sub-themes include: Theories and Discourses on Nigerian Arts and Festivals /Song-Poetry and Dance-Songs/ Theatrics of Religious Poetry/ Orature and New Media/ Feasting on the Net / Cultural Aesthetics/ Oral Performance and National Integration/ Dramaturgy of Nigerian Festivals/ Orality and Leadership/ Nigerian Arts on Stage /Rituals and Diplomacy/Poetics of Conflict Resolution/Oral Literature and Political Fiesta/ Carnivals and Power-Politics/ Conceptualizing the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.

However, these topics are not exhaustive, as other areas of focus, within the purview of the conference theme will be accommodated.
