Who knows, in the run-up to next February's presidential elections things could get a lot worse, with Boko Haram already in full swing albeit still confined to their corner of the self-declared enclave which is now firmly under the control of what they call Sharia, all over which sovereign national property and with impunity too, they are now flying the flag of their Islamic Caliphate.
I can only foresee Brother Obama dropping down in Abuja (unprecedented maximum security measures) - perhaps in a case of national Emergency declared by his good Brother Jonathan (let's say with Boko Haram about to overwhelm Owerri) - and so Brother Obama would come flying over and so, inadvertently even give Goodluck's re-election chances a boost on a visit as US Potus, leader of the free world & commander-in-chief in the war against Global Terrorism. Indeed, why shouldn't he fly over to the president (of Africa's biggest economy, oil supplier, potential market) in response to his to Brother's call for moral and material support in the Nigerian Division, in which it is the Nigerian Military forces at a standoff with Boko Haram - for lack of adequate weaponry to take on the insurgents...
