UI VC felicitates with muslims
The Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole has congratulated Muslims in the University and across the entire country on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir.
In a message issued by the University's Director of Public Communication, Mr. Olatunji Oladejo, the VC urged muslims to imbibe the lessons of obedience to the will of God, humility, perseverance, good neighbourliness, charity and love as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismail.
While wishing them a blissful celebration, Prof. Adewole said, "We should use this celebration as an opportunity to strengthen our bond of unity to live in peace and harmony as one people to move our country forward."
