Public education in Nigeria has become a national security crisis, several generations of youths are owed full refunds of their school fees because in real nations, what passes for their classrooms, from elementary school to tertiary are mostly chicken coops that would alarm the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
I am data-driven; all you young ones yelling at me for fighting for your rights, go and check all the past ministers of Education, commissioners of Education, find out where their family members went to school while they were in power. I don't blame them; the only universities worth attending today are owned by the great statesmen Obasanjo and Atiku. Obasanjo built his from the proceeds of chickens of Otta farm and Atiku sold one of his huts to build world class universities! Nigeria is Animal Farm and each one of you should be named Boxer. You won't get that because of course you attended abusive institutions where you learned the wrong things. You should chase your heroes down the filthy alleys of your living nightmares.
What to do? Simple. Enact a law that says the children and grandchildren of officeholder must attend public schools. The next ministers and commissioners of Education everywhere must be young technocrats with children. Their children should be put in those schools. Watch a real transformation. The roofs will not leak and there will be real instruction in those schools.
