By Chidi Anthony Opara
I tongue-lashed
The whores who hang around
Those who dwell
In the sanctum of governance.
I rebuked them
For their poisoned nipples
That suckle
The supposed statesmen.
The half-clad harlots
With hell between their legs
Eyed me
With half closed dreamy eyes,
My heart missed beats,
The gods came to my rescue.
"Sing to us your songs",
The she-devils demanded.
"My verses are for the virtuous"
I replied.
They spread their legs,
Their tighs fell apart.
"Be silent
And these will be yours",
They offered.
Hell broke loose between my legs,
Again
The gods came to my rescue.
