I convulsed with laughter when I saw Chidi Opara's intervention with the moderator about the use of uncivil language in our conversations. The beam in Chidi's eye has helped him to see the speck in the eyes of other people. Consistency is not the forte of this consistent contributor of poems. Just recently he was, in flowery language , dismissive of Ikeogu who won a literary prize for his amazing Heresiad. Chidi's cuts a forlorn and pathetic figure who wants to be recognized within the Biafran agitation as well as the literary circle even when he seems to lack the requisite talon and talent.
