--As a future healthcare provider I believe that it is important to focus and impact the health of the world, not just in local communities. Africa's healthcare system compared to the United States fall on completely different spectrums and resources. So to improve HIV/Aids rates in places like Africa communities around the world must provide support for each other with supplies, economic help, and knowledge. The health of a person is something that shouldn't be questioned or put second in the line of priorities. Everyone deserves the chance at living life to fullest and having the resources to live it healthy.

Our Next Topic of Discussion on African Health Dialogues is: Expanding Access to Treatment for Persons Living with HIV/AIDS in African communities Worldwide
As we all know, without treatment with the adequate dose of the properanti retroviral, the diagnosis of HIV is a certain death sentence. Persons living with HIV who follow a strict recommended treatment, diet and lifestyle regime are likely to achieve a quality of life nearly comparable to those who are HIV negative. We will compare data from one African country to another looking at the number of people needing treatment against the number actually getting it.
- The obvious questions are why are people of African descent worldwide more affected to by the HIV Virus?
- What are the obstacles to achieving 100% treatment coverage for people of African descent living with the virus?
- Who are the stakeholders, beneficiaries and regulators of the properanti retroviral?
- What can be done to improve the statistics?
