Your trio is doing a good job. I was wondering if there could be policy extracts.

Those extracts are offered freely to relevant agencies. They can discard them, as this is what anti-people are known for, but an archive of useable knowledge would have been created.

This is a transformational recommendation outside the rubrics of the useless tribal hegemonies and their offensive claims to democracy without values.

Great point, Oga. I agree that the demand side, which is strategic and deliberate, has to be considered. Without the pull, the push often would not result in japa/emigration.

I read the piece in the Premium Times earlier today. Great points all over.

I have one small disagreement: you are looking at it from the supply side, which is half the story. The demand side is the other half: how, since the early modern, stronger states and stronger economies have the capacity to attract through inducements and policies that undermine weaker countries. Even if Nigeria were to be free of corruption, the power of the dollar and exchange rates will trigger migration.

Adam Smith made the argument a long time ago that nations, like wealthy individuals, built their assets partly in fraud: the capacity to steal the resources of others. Predating Smith was the majestic observation of Christ, a major philosopher of great intellectual power, that it is from those who have that those who have will take more!!!
