Professor Biodun Ogundayo to join the Panel Discussion on Coups in Africa, September 24, 2023
BioDun J. Ogundayo is an Associate Professor of French and Comparative Literature at the Bradford Campus of the University of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also the director of the Africana Studies program. He holds a Ph.D. in African Literature and Spirituality from the University at Buffalo (SUNY), a Master's in French Comparative Linguistics from Queen's University, Canada, and a Master's in French from the University of Lagos, Akoka. While on sabbatical in the Caribbean, he obtained an elementary Chinese language and culture certificate.
This July, Dr. Ogundayo, a Fulbright US Scholar, returned to the USA from Niamey, Niger, three weeks before President Bazoum was deposed in a coup d'état.
