This is a short note on contemporary antisemitism also known as "the world's oldest hatred"
Perhaps, inadvertently giving it oxygen by talking about it will either stem the rising tide of antisemitism in the world or inexorably further fan the flames exponentially and thereby - horror of horrors - make it bloom like grass;
Dire consequences.
On the 26th of December 2014, Ted Belman posted "The Church planted the seeds of the Holocaust", an essay which begins, " The Holocaust didn't occur because of Hitler but because of the Church. Hitler merely built upon the policies of the Church and drove them to their logical conclusion"
Indeed, inarguably, The Church planted the seeds of the Holocaust
Recently, I watched these YouTube videos by the Berean Church on Israel
and by others on their burning issue of "The Jews are not God's chosen people"
In my opinion, because Jesus is reported to have declared," I have only come for the lost sheep of the House of Israel" all of the above are more or less based on replacement theology and , forget about the Islamic side of things, it's these supersessionist people, the flock of approximately 2.4 billion Christians in the world that are silently leading the charge, the right-wing American Evangelicals and the Nigerian and other African Pentecostals of course playing what they believe to be their vital role , praying for the construction of the third Beit Hamikdash / the third temple,that they fervently believe will precipitate the return of Lord & Saviour, Jesus
At this point the anti-defamation people must be foaming at the mouth, in overdrive…

Reich's The Mass Psychology of Fascism was first published in German in 1933 -the same year that Adolf Hitler came to power and hell-bent, kick- started his career for real two years later with the enactment of The Nuremberg Laws ( and, by the way, The Mass Psychology of Fascism was only first published in English in 1948 )

in need of healing, the ADL folks and others
like them will avow
that for whatever reason,
even if they act like Adolf Hitler
any weapon shaped against them &
any voice raised against them
amount to nothing less than "antisemitism"
and therefore shall not prosper.
BTW, there could be the possibility of logic with a feeling as part of the healing.
If this is true, then wasn't the killing of Jesus an act of antisemitism according to
the most anti-Semitic Gospel of St. John and their own definition of that term -
"the world's oldest hatred" ?
And in that case, those who killed him, and other blood libels,
yes or no, shall they have a right to prosper?
They do not say that by their own & Netanyahu's supremacist actions
they self-destruct by sowing the seeds of their own destruction
In his own defence (and apart from Israel, Bob Vylan also has a right to defend himself - which does not always mean that " attack is the best form of defence " -although counter-attack is legit - and the Holy Quran affirms ; "Allah does not love the aggressor" - that is, does not like the one or ones who initiate hostilities….
So, in his own defence for all we know Bob Vylan might be acquainted with the compendium provided by Radio Islam .
( I have narrated in this forum, how I met the proprietor Ahmed Rami - that circa 1987, A to Z, I was making an inventory of all the Muslim organisations in Sweden and when I got to R and phoned Radio Islam I greeted the guy who answered," Asalam alaikum " and then asked him, "What do you do? " He replied, " I don't talk to Zionists!" - I then told him, " Alhamdulillah! I am not a Zionist" - and so as arranged I met him in person approximately fifteen minutes later, outside the Central post office at Vasagatan ( in Stockholm) we shook hands etc and I subsequently met him on other occasions at other gatherings, and he drove me home once…
Anyway, back to Bob Vylan who -just like me is ( are) probably an avid consumer of all the bad news and bloody footage we are served daily, in real time by Al-Jazeera and in that case -in his own self defence will blame it all on Israel, will, would, should and could claim that as a human being he cannot countenance Israel and their IDF's extreme cruelty, their genocidal excesses in Gaza without protesting with all his heart mind and soul with which he loves ALMIGHTY GOD
And then the legalists and so called humanitarians and the post-Holocaust folks who likeSt Paul, die daily ( when they remember the Holocaust), will say, " When we think of the potential consequences of mass incitement, what happened at Glastonbury must be roundly condemned as going well beyond the legal bounds known as "free speech" / "freedom of speech"
Concerning the potential uses or abuses of metaphor in connection with alleged "antisemitism", yesterday I did write, something like
" If it's true that Trump's bunker busting bombs failed to "obliterate" Iran's nuclear research facilities or their stockpiles of highly enriched uranium, then round 2 is unlikely to continue, especially with Netanyahu's unceremonious departure from the limelight, like the ceremonial Yom Kippur goats, having only accomplished genocide, crimes against humanity, further tarnished the image of his country, caused a national and international trauma, pariah state status, one disaster after another. "

The idea of Benjamin Netanyahu as the sacrificial goat or scapegoat if you will ,
Netanyahu being ceremonially or unceremoniously sent off into the wilderness of retirement - just like Azazel, the Yom Kippur goat sent off to the wilderness
