This kind of report is clearly not intended to inform but to indict. While this is a well established if discreditable traditional practice of Western journalism; it is partly surprising coming form an African journalist.
Or perhaps one should not be surprised since African journalists ape Western journalism as the model of free and objective journalism
But journalism which generalizes on this scale can only be regarded as nothing but mindless propaganda masquerading as "independent"reporting, no matter its source.
