On another note, a Facebook debate argues that Achuzie was a civilian before the war.Can that be true? If so, how did he develop such a reputation as a skilled commander and uncompromising warrior? As for stories of people surviving through magnanimity, how many on both sides would have survived serious war crimes investigation?
It was a particularly savage war.toyin--On 28 February 2018 at 15:13, Ibukunolu A Babajide <ibk2005@gmail.com> wrote:Chidi Anthony Opara,You are now exposed. You are a phoney Nigerian. If the person you lied to does not catch up with you, the liar knows he is lying! That beast survived ONLY through the magnanimity of Gowon. He rewrote history to suit his failing memory and jack up his deeply felt failure. I am pro Biafra, albeit not the Nnamdi Kanu and Ralph Uwazuruike variant, so, I do not need to "gradually show Biafra credential". It is already there and there is nothing you or any other persons can do about it.
I do not also need to remind you that if Joseph Achuzie had refused to collapse his battle fronts for Alani Akinrinade and Olusegun Obasanjo to pass and meet Philip Effiong, the "Biafra surrender" which your revisionist historians mouth today, would not have been possible.
Furthermore, if Joseph Achuzie had gone into guerrilla warfare, as he wanted to initially, before he was persuaded to lay down arms, there would not have been anything called Nigeria today, judging by the man's military prowess.
Your "no victor, no vanquished" and three "Rs" (reconciliation, rehabilitation and reconstruction) were however, phoney.
CAO.

Re: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Re: Breaking: Biafran hero, Brigadier Joe Achuzie (aka “Air Raid”) is Dead at 89
How does this kind of "resentful" exchange advance fruitful conversation?
